Enterokinase is a specific protease that cleaves after lysine at its cleavage site “Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys”. Depending on the conformation of the protein substrate, the enzyme will sometimes cleave at other basic residues.
Recombinant Enterokinase produced in Hansenula polymorpha by ARTES.
